Rochdale MBC chief executive suspended

The Greater Manchester council confirmed the news early-December.

James Binks, Chief Executive of Rochdale Metropolitan Borough Council, has been suspended due to allegations of inappropriate behaviour. 

The incidents are now under investigation internally by Manchester City Council, his employer during the time the accusations refer to. He worked at the authority for 13 years before taking up his current position in April.
